BLOCS movie night

🎬 Movie Night at HH 129! Join us this Friday for snacks at 6:00 p.m. followed by the main event at 6:30 p.m. It's the perfect opportunity to enjoy cinematic delights in a cozy setting. See you there for an evening of fun and film! 🍿✨
Commencement
Fri., December 8
The fall commencement ceremony will take place on December 8th at 3pm. Graduates are to report to the Viking Village no later than 1:20pm on that Friday. Faculty are asked to report to the hallway between the two gymnasiums in the SFC in full regalia at 2:40pm. Thank you!
Christmas Break Housing
Fri., December 8
The Res Halls close for Christmas Break at noon on December 15 and reopen at 9:30 a.m. on January 6. All students must leave the Res Halls unless they live in campus apartments or are required to be on campus for Bethany-sponsored activities. Other students wishing to remain on campus over Christmas Break must pay $25 per day with a cap of $250 for the entirety of Break. All students on campus over Christmas must pre-register, regardless of your reason for staying or whether you are paying to stay. Hiring Phone-a-thon CallersLove talking on the phone? Had a great experience attending Bethany? You are engaging and have great communication skills? If you answer YES to these questions, consider a work study position as a phoner for Bethany's Advancement Office. We are hiring right now for our annual Phone-a-thon fundraising program that starts in January. If interested, please email don.westphal@blc.edu with your name, year in school, and the dates/times you are available for a 15-minute phone interview even over the semester break. The deadline to apply is Tuesday, December 12.

Holiday Sharing Tree

Literacy Clinic CoachesThe Bethany Education Department is looking for people interested in coaching community children that need help with reading skills and fluency. Coaches are paid an hourly work study wage and a scholarship at the conclusion of the clinic session for their time. Sessions are set up at the convenience of the coach and family and are conducted in the Education classroom spaces. Dr. Pfeifer provides training and support. Bethany Blood Drive

It is not too early to start planning ahead! Bethany once again has the privilege of hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive on January 30 from 12:00 p.m. -5:00 p.m. in the SFC.
