Plan your visit to personally experience Bethany’s beautiful campus. While you visit, you can talk with our faculty face-to-face and feel how Bethany values you.

A weekend for juniors and seniors to feel like a college student. Free* with deposit and transportation provided from select locations.

October 24–26, 2019 – Transportation from Appleton, Milwaukee, Madison, and Lacrosse.

February 6–8, 2020 – Must provide your own transportation.

*Students will be asked for a $40 deposit that will be returned when they arrive on campus (October Trip only).

Need a Ride?

Land to Air EXPRESS, a shuttle from Minneapolis, St. Paul, Rochester and the MSP airport is available to visitors going to and from Mankato. Visitors using this shuttle service from the airport may get reimbursed for the cost of their trip through the Admissions Office if contacted in advance. Uber and Lyft make in town travel easy; but if you prefer a taxi service, call Kato Cab at 507-388-7433. Mankato also has an extensive public bus system.

There are numerous hotel options available. Six local hotels have partnered with Bethany Lutheran College as corporate sponsors and offer special rates for Bethany guests. Option 2 – College Readiness Deep Dive

  • 10:50 – 11:15 a.m. – Academic, Character, Collegiate, Career and Financial Planning Discussion with Admissions.

Overnight Visits

Groups seeking an in-depth visit to the campus may request an overnight experience. Visiting students will be hosted in
the residence halls by current students, or a group room may be arranged. An overnight visit may include:

Arrival Night:

  • 6 p.m. – Supper in Dining Center with your hosts (families and chaperones are welcome)
  • 7:00 p.m. – Settle into the Residence Hall with your Host
  • 7:30 p.m. – Attend Theatre or Athletic Event (when available) or free time with hosts to explore campus
  • 9 p.m. – Viking Village Foosball, Air Hockey and Gaming or Nooks and Crannies Tour
  • Midnight  – Lights Out

Departure Day:

  • 7:45 a.m. – Wake Up and Pack
  • 8:15 a.m. – Breakfast
  • 8:45 a.m – Tour of Campus
  • 10 a.m. – Chapel
  • 10:30 a.m. – Attend Class, Your Choice
  • 11:30 a.m. – Meet with Professor/Coach/Director
  • 12 p.m. – Lunch
  • 1 p.m. – Gather Belongings and Farewell
