Dining Services and Meal Plans

When it comes to food, we realize that variety, quality, quantity and nutrition are important to today’s college student. To meet these culinary needs, Bethany contracts its dining services with the nationally-recognized Pioneer College Caterers

Beyond catering the meals on campus, Pioneer also offers family and friends the ability to order special treats for birthdays, holidays, or other special occasions in a student’s life. Browse the special order page to order birthday cakes, cookies, fruit, or care packages.

Meal Plans

To best meet students’ needs, Bethany’s Dining Services is committed to offering quality meals that satisfy a wide variety of tastes and dietary requirements.

Eligible students may opt for a different meal plan up through the tenth day of classes each semester. Email Residential Life if you wish to change your meal plan.

Students MUST bring their Bethany Student ID card (or a valid temporary ID) to all meals, as they are not allowed to give their ID number verbally.

Continuous Access Full Meal Plan

This plan gives students unlimited daily access to the Dining Center during the hours of operation. This plan is required for all residential students who live in a standard room. It is also available to non-resident students.

Five Meal Per Week Plan

This plan gives students five meals per week, approximately 88 meals per semester. This plan is available to non-resident students and to resident students who live in an apartment in Edgewood Place, Larson Hall, or Gullixson Hall. It is not available to resident students who live in a standard room.

Flex Dollar Account for Non-Resident Students

Flex dollar accounts are a way for non-resident students to pay for individual meals without using cash for each visit. Students carry a Flex Dollar balance on their ID card; at each meal taken, the cost of the meal is deducted from the balance. Flex Dollars are purchased directly from the food service cashier as needed. With Flex Dollar purchases of $25 or more in a single transaction, a 10% credit will be given. For example, a $30 purchase would add 33 Flex Dollars to the student’s account. The Flex Dollar account option is not available for resident students.
