Maurina Rondeau ’12

Maurina Rondeau (Mosley) (2012)

Maurina Rondeau, Class of 2012, graduated from Bethany Lutheran College with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art, focusing on Graphic Design. She currently serves as Marketing and Events Manager at Union Depot in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Design had always interested Maurina, though she wasn’t initially sure how it would translate into a career. “I graduated with a Studio Art in Graphic Design degree and started applying all over,” she recalls. “Nothing sparked my interest, so I took a job as an administrator. My career has blossomed, and I’ve been given the opportunity to move fields and grow into marketing!”

Her Bethany experience helped shape that path. As a layout designer for The Scroll and an active member of Colleges Against Cancer, she gained real-world skills in design and organization that directly inform her current work. “I was involved in Colleges Against Cancer and was a layout designer for The Scroll, which both prepared me for the career I’m currently in.”

Maurina also praises the academic environment at Bethany, especially as a transfer student. “The classes at Bethany were great, and the small class sizes gave me the education I needed. As a transfer student, it was seamless and wonderful. I can’t say enough good things.”

Her story reflects how a Studio Art/Graphic Design degree from Bethany Lutheran College can lead to unexpected and fulfilling career growth—equipping graduates with creative adaptability, project management skills, and the confidence to thrive in dynamic professional environments.
