Veeva Lee ’20

Veeva Lee earned her Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science from Bethany Lutheran College in 2020, where she also distinguished herself as a standout player on the Vikings’ women’s volleyball team during her four years on campus.

Now pursuing her MBA in Sports Business Management at Webber International University in Florida, Veeva is also a member of their women’s beach volleyball team, blending academic ambition with athletic passion.

Her family serves as a profound source of motivation:

“My family inspires me every day to follow my dreams and to continue working hard. I hope that with the path I have paved, they will all grow up to follow their dreams and believe they can do anything.”

Although her career path continues to unfold, Veeva hopes to make a difference by encouraging young women to dream boldly and build meaningful connections:

“I truly believe that anything is possible if you dream big, work hard and create connections. I hope my journey changes the lives of many young women, and inspires them.”

Reflecting on how Bethany shaped her, she says the college prepared her for the professional world through both academic rigor and relational development:

“In my classes, I was given opportunities to challenge myself and learn. In my work study jobs, I was able to meet other professionals, practice my professionalism, and create meaningful connections.”

She also cherishes the camaraderie formed through athletics:

“I will never forget … being able to compete on the volleyball court with my teammates who are now some of my best friends.”

Veeva’s story shows how Bethany’s intimate, faith-influenced environment equips students for diverse futures—from service in sports leadership to graduate-level business study—by nurturing character, ambition, and resilient community bonds.
