Biography

Brittany has been a resident of Mankato since she was three. Playing basketball, soccer, and tennis in high school, as well as basketball and soccer in college, she has always had a passion for sports and physical activity. Nowadays, she still likes to play recreational soccer and has developed a passion for bicycling.

Whilst attending MNSU-Mankato, she realized that God’s path in life for her was to share her love of the language of mathematics with others. Ever since, she has strived to share her knowledge and outlook on mathematics with others, hopefully fostering an appreciation and love for mathematics and all of the stories it can tell.

In 2021, Brittany and her husband were blessed with their first son. Now they have two sons, Tiago (4) and Mateo (2), who keep both of them on their toes at all times.

Additionally, Brittany owns and operates a construction business with her company. This portion of her life allows her to bring numerous real-world examples and applications to her classroom, showing everyone how frequently mathematics is used in all types of careers.
