Biography
Jason Lowrey serves as Vice President of Academic Affairs at Bethany Lutheran College, where he leads academic strategy with a strong commitment to the college’s Confessional Lutheran mission. Since 2017, he has facilitated major academic initiatives, including the launch of new undergraduate and graduate programs, a redesign of the general education core curriculum, and efforts to strengthen Bethany’s vocational and Lutheran identity.
Dr. Lowrey has helped secure grants from the Antioch Foundation and Council for Independent Colleges NetVUE organization, reimagined the Career Development Center, and played a supporting role in the college’s 2018 accreditation reaffirmation. Prior to his role at Bethany, he directed the Master of Arts in Education program at Wisconsin Lutheran College and served as a Curriculum Specialist at Ramsey Solutions in Nashville, TN. He also spent 17 years as a Called Worker in the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS).
