Know What It’s Like Living At Bethany

There are five residence halls at Bethany Lutheran College. Anderson and Edgewood house women, Gullixson and Teigen house men, and Larson usage varies by year depending on the student body demographics. Edgewood and Larson offer apartment-style living.

Anderson Hall

Anderson Hall is located on the top three floors of Old Main. Like the other residence halls, Anderson Hall is prepared and staffed to handle residential life issues.

Each residence provides spacious, well-equipped rooms, laundry facilities, kitchen access, lounges and study areas for individual or group work as well as tutorial services.

Edgewood Place

Edgewood Place is Bethany’s newest residential building. It features spacious two- and three-bedroom apartments with full kitchens and ample living space.

Most bedrooms are 12′ x 16′ while the main living areas range from 12′ x 16′ up to 16′ x 24′. A full bath with double sink is available in each apartment.

Each apartment’s kitchen is equipped with a range and fridge and most have three bar-height chairs at the raised counter. Students in Edgewood are on the 5-Meal Plan unless they wish to upgrade to the Unlimited Plan.

A lounge, study area, and laundry rooms are located in the common areas of the building.

Edgewood is located on the east side of campus alongside a heavily wooded ravine. See maps. The building was added to campus in 2006.

Larson Hall

Larson Hall is an apartment-style residence for Bethany students. Most of the apartments have three bedrooms and house up to six students. Each apartment has a full bath and a kitchen with fridge, oven, and microwave. Laundry facilities are available in the common areas of the building.

Larson Hall is located partway down the hill below the Memorial Library. An adjacent parking area provides close parking for students with vehicles. The smallest of Bethany’s residence halls, Larson was built in the mid 1990s to accommodate a growing student enrollment.
