First-Ever BLC International Festival Brings Global Perspectives to Campus
Bethany Lutheran College hosted its first-ever International Festival on Saturday, October 4, marking a new tradition of cultural celebration on campus. The event grew from an idea to connect Bethany’s large international student population—currently representing 35 countries across six continents—with younger learners in the region’s Lutheran grade schools. Invitations were extended to students and families from Mt. Olive, Risen Savior, and St. Paul-New Ulm. Students in PSYC230 (Cross-Cultural Psychology) and members of the Bethany World Club created interactive nation booths as part of a service-learning project.
