Bethany’s Honors Music Events invite top high school musicians to campus for a day of professional instruction, peer collaboration, and evening performances that showcase their artistic growth.

A Stage for Rising Talent and Musical Collaboration

Bethany invites high school music directors to nominate students with talents in choral, band and instrumental music for one or more of these Saturday experiences.

During each one day event, an exceptional group of young musicians enjoy interactive workshops with accomplished directors, collaborate in learning a few exceptional works of music, and perform together in a rich musical concert environment.

The public is welcome to these free Saturday evening concerts to see the up-and-coming talent pool of musicians.

NEW! Piano & Organ Camp

We have an outstanding new event – a piano and organ camp for grades 9-12 on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Taught by Prof. Mark DeGarmeaux (organ) and Prof. Constance Langhorst (piano), students will also enjoy access to top of the line pianos and organs.
 
Registration opens on Tuesday, September 2, and is limited to 40 registrants. Cost is $30 per person, which includes lunch and a campus tour. Students have the option of submitting a video when they register to be considered for the closing recital. The 4 p.m. recital on October 4 is free and open to the public.

Honor String Orchestra

Saturday, February 21, 2026
5 p.m. concert


Two orchestras: Grades 6-8 and Grades 9-12

Nominations open December 16, 2025, to January 16, 2026. Selection announcement January 22. Registration fee $30 per participant.
