Stop by to meet Professors Ben Faugstad and Evan Bierer for 30 minutes to learn about concert band, jazz, and drumline. Rehearsals officially begin for Concert Band at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, 8/20; and both Drumline (4:30 p.m.) and Jazz (5:30 p.m.) begin on Monday, 8/25. All are welcome!

A sign up sheet for audition times will be posted in the YFAC on Tuesday. Students who missed the informational meeting are still welcomed by Professors Fredrickson and Paulson to attend.
Plan on bringing your instrument to this info meeting and first rehearsal. String, woodwind, and percussionists are welcome to be a part of this instrumental ensemble. Chair placement auditions will take place the following week (TBA).

The B-Town Drumline will perform with Alumni and Friends on the Campus Green as part of Fall Festival Weekend. This free event will take place on the lawn at 11 am. Come join in the fun for this free event!
The Concert Band will perform its first concert of the year with Alumni and Friends in Trinity Chapel at 3:15 pm during Fall Festival weekend. Alumni Josiah Willitz (’11) will join the band as guest conductor. This event is free and open to the public.
The Music Department presents its first Alumni Recital event during Fall Festival Weekend. This recital will feature the talents of Alumni Erik Hermanson, Constance (Bloedel) Langhorst, and Natalie (Dworak) Wishcop. The recital takes place in Trinity Chapel at 12:30 pm
The Chamber Orchestra will perform its Fall Concert at 7 pm in Trinity Chapel. Come enjoy this free event.
