Where Vikings Train and Compete
Bethany’s many excellent athletic facilities help students train for intercollegiate sports, improve themselves physically, and enjoy intramural sports and recreation.
Baseball Field
Bethany’s baseball team plays and practices at the city-owned Franklin Rogers Park. ‘The Frank’ as it’s known to the Mankato community is conveniently located just blocks from the Bethany campus. Bethany is the priority tenant at the community ballpark during months of March, April, and May allowing the team to both practice and play its home baseball schedule on a field that features all-weather turf, excellent locker room facilities, and lights for night games.Intramural Field
Bethany’s intramural field, located next to Gullixson Hall, is used for intramurals, soccer practice, and other events.
Scheels Field
Scheels Field, the Bethany soccer field, is located on the south end of the campus, is used primarily for intercollegiate matches.
Softball Field
The Bethany Lutheran softball teams play their home games at the city-owned Thomas Park.
