Bethany’s Largest Academic Building

Named after longtime Bethany Professor Rudolph “Rudy” E. Honsey, Rudolph E. Honsey Hall is an extraordinary academic building on the Bethany campus, made possible though the generous support and prayers of alumni and friends of the College.

At 66,000 square feet, it is the largest academic building on the Bethany campus. Housing the divisions of Communication, Humanities, and Social and Behavioral Sciences, the building has enough learning spaces to meet the needs of the College well into the future.

MSU Hockey Broadcast

For nearly twenty years, Bethany Lutheran College and Minnesota State University, Mankato have worked together on a unique broadcast partnership of NCAA Division I men’s and women’s hockey. The Maverick Hockey broadcast partnership has been a catalyst for dozens of Bethany graduates to secure jobs with well-known broadcast organizations.

Students learn the world of sports broadcasting through this partnership with Minnesota State University. Throughout the 19-year partnership, Bethany students have produced over 250 live Minnesota State men’s hockey broadcasts, dozens of promotional videos for the Maverick hockey program, and have even partnered with ESPNU and Fox Sports on occasion.
