Old Main
Old Main, built in 1911, symbolizes Bethany for hundreds of alumni and friends of the college. Old Main is connected via hallway to Luther Hall, and via tunnel to Memorial Library, Trinity Chapel, Meyer Hall, and Honsey Hall.
The building address is 750 Luther Ct., Mankato, MN. (All mail should be sent to the main college address at 700 Luther Dr.)
Private Dining Room
The Private Dining Room is located inside the Dining Center and seats up to 25 people. It is available on request for meetings and other events.
Mail Room
The mail room is located on the first floor of Old Main.
Hours
Mail is sorted and distributed between 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Mailboxes
Residents of Anderson, Teigen, and Gullixson Halls have access to their mailboxes with their room keys. Residents of Edgewood Place will be given a key to their mailbox by their Residence Hall Coordinator. Mailboxes for off-campus students are assigned upon request at the start of the semester by the business office.
Postal Needs
Packages can be weighed and stamps can be purchased through the Bethany Spirit Store, though the drop box for out-going and on-campus mail is located in the Mail Room. Packages weighing over 1 pound must be taken to the Post Office, or mailed through UPS, which can also be done through the Spirit Store. Out-going mail is picked up Monday through Friday around 4:00 p.m.
Package pick-up
Parcel boxes have been installed in the mail room so that students may retrieve packages whenever the building is open. A key to open the parcel box will be placed in the mailbox with the student’s name attached.
Students receiving parcels too large for the boxes will get a note in their mailbox. To retrieve the package, the should contact the Information Secretary.

Old Main Computer Lab
The Old Main Computer Lab is located across from the Mail Room on the first floor of Old Main.
Viking Village
The Viking Village, located on the ground floor of Old Main, is a place to relax with friends, study, watch TV, or play games such as pool, darts, air hockey, and foosball.
There’s also a retro-style video arcade machine, and you can also bring to-go meals to the VV to eat.
Inside Old Main
Main floor: The Dining Center, which includes the Great Room used for banquets, dances, and other gatherings, Student Senate, Campus Security offices, a computer lab, the mail room, the Center for Intercultural Development & Resources, and the Viking Village recreation room.
2nd floor: The college Spirit Store, Admissions department, Business Office, and faculty and administrative offices.
3rd through 5th floors: Anderson Hall, a residence hall for women.
