Bethany’s Best Week Ever, our version of new student orientation, is a week (or so) designed around you!
Commencement
Commencement is held in December (Fall Semester) and May (Spring Semester). Bethany confers bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, and master of arts degrees.
Fall Festival: A Homecoming Weekend
Please join us September 19 – 21, 2025 for the annual Bethany Fall Festival: A Homecoming Weekend. This event includes activities for all ages and alumni reunions.
Reformation Lectures
The Bjarne W. Teigen Reformation Lectures are an annual tradition at Bethany Lutheran College. Each October, guest speakers deliver lectures on topics related to the Lutheran Reformation.
Constitution Day
Each year, on or about September 17, the History Department and Legal Studies Department of Bethany Lutheran College jointly sponsor an educational event concerning the U.S. Constitution.
Sport Tournaments
Bethany Sports Classic Golf Tournament
The 40th annual Bethany Sports Classic Golf Tournament presented by Graystone Consulting will be happening on Monday, August 4, 2025, at the Mankato Golf Club!
Joel Laube Memorial Golf Tournament
Bethany’s Annual Joel Laube Memorial Golf Tournament, held each June since 2003, directly benefits the Joel Laube Memorial Scholarship at Bethany Lutheran College.
Art Events
Christmas at Bethany
Join us for our annual Christmas at Bethany concert! The Bethany Lutheran College choirs and bands present a choral and instrumental celebration of the season.
Honor Band
The Bethany Lutheran College Music Department invites nominated band students to join us each November for our annual Honor Band, a fun day of band rehearsal culminating with a concert that is open to the public.
Choraliers
Bethany’s Choraliers (a music and theatre department collaboration) present a musical theatre production each February of a classic Broadway musical or operetta.
Spring Play
The Spring Play is held each April, the fourth of four theatre productions held each year at Bethany. Tickets are available from the Bethany Box Office.
Fall Play
The Fall Play is held each November, the second of four theatre productions held each year at Bethany. Tickets are available from the Bethany Box Office.
Theatre Physics
A lasting tradition in the Bethany theater is the biennial production of Theatre Physics. The show is a Vaudeville-style study of experimental theatre.
